West Waterloo Place, Liverpool

Value - £100m | Client - Romal Capital

A £100m waterfront development, transforming a derelict site on Liverpool’s historic waterfront into a thriving new neighbourhood within Peel L&P’s Liverpool Waters.

We have been appointed by Romal Capital to provide civil and structural engineering design for this mixed-use scheme providing 330 units in a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments and various types of commercial units at ground floor level.

The innovative project has incorporated infilling an existing dock and erecting a new dock wall, before proceeding with the construction of the new structure.

Providing a series of public and semi-public spaces, the urban realm will be used by new residents, the existing community, business users and visitors alike.

Once complete, the new neighbourhood, along with the regeneration of Central Docks and the wider Liverpool Waters area, will bring much needed economic growth and new job creation to the area, extending the prosperity of Liverpool city northwards.
