Saltcoats Town Hall

Value - £3.6m | Client - North Ayrshire Council

The £3.6m refurbishment and restoration of Saltcoats Town Hall, for North Ayrshire Council, included modernising the offices and workspace for the Council, along with providing a stunning historic venue available for hire.

Part-funded by Historic Scotland, the scheme saw the renovation of the semi-derelict Grade B listed building, requiring major conservation and restoration works. The project brief was to return the town hall to its former glory and re-establish it as the civic and heritage focal point of Saltcoats and The Three Towns.

The MEP installations were replaced in their entirety and were in keeping with the listing and architecture heritage of the building.

The ground floor was converted into a modern climate-controlled high-density office space.
