This state-of-the-art sports and community complex, for Cheshire East Council, houses an eight-lane 25m swimming pool, learner pool, a fitness suite and sports hall, together with an on-site café, library, and office facilities. The building is also home to specialist adult care and children’s services and provides day facilities for adults with learning disabilities. It is a place to read, learn, exercise and participate in community events.
The centre facilitates regeneration and enhances the health and wellbeing of local people.
The scheme won the RICS Awards 2017 Community Benefit Category and the LABC Awards 2017 Best Public Service Building.
