A large development of both private and social housing and apartments in the south of Glasgow for Urban Union.
This is a large residential development built over several phases.
Consisting of both private and social housing, the development includes four-storey apartment blocks, and two and three-storey terraced houses. The homes are formed in timber kit with masonry / concrete stair cores, and have masonry external cladding. The scheme also features some six-storey sections that are built using a steel frame with timber infill.
Working with Robertson Timber Engineering for Urban Union, we were responsible for the design of the timber frame walls, engineered joists and timber trussed rafters.
Earlier phases are now completed, and we are currently engaged on Phase 3a(1).
