New senior appointment strengthens North West civil & structural engineering team

Clancy Consulting is delighted to announce the appointment of Nick Barringer as Technical Director based at the Manchester office.

A Chartered Structural Engineer with nearly 20 years experience, Nick joins the Manchester civil and structural team with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of engineering consultancy. Throughout his career he has been involved in a diverse portfolio of projects with values up to £75million and delivered across a range of sectors with particular expertise in the residential, education, healthcare and sport, leisure and hospitality markets.

Prior to joining Clancy, Nick held positions at Sinclair Knight Merz and, most recently, Ridge and Partners (formerly Scott Hughes Design) where he played a key role in the delivery of various complex projects.

Nick’s appointment further strengthens the Clancy team, which continues to establish a strong presence in the city centre since their head office relocation nearly 12 months ago.
