Great Jackson Street skyscrapers secure planning approval

The proposal for two 56-storey residential towers in Manchester was given the green light at July’s planning committee meeting.

The site occupies a strategic location in Manchester’s city centre near the Mancunian Way, and will feature 1,037 residential units in two towers, along with townhouses at ground level. There will be public and private amenity space, 236 parking spaces, 1,040 internal cycle spaces and 40 visitor cycle spaces.

Designed by award-winning architects Hodder+Partners, the £350m scheme, which will be known as Park Place, will regenerate this gateway site, improving the public realm and local area.

This is the latest in a number of high-profile schemes that we are currently engaged on in the region. We’re thrilled that the scheme has been awarded planning permission and, once complete, will be a fantastic addition to the city’s already impressive skyline.”
