Clancy expands leadership team in North West

Daniel Singh joins Clancy as Divisional Director in our Manchester office, to form an integral part of the civil and structural team in the North West.
Having previously served at some of the UK’s leading multi-disciplinary engineering design consultancies, Sinclair Knight Mertz, Arup, and most recently, Sweco, Daniel joins the Clancy leadership team as the company continues its targeted growth.
Boasting over 15 years within the construction industry, Daniel has significant experience in leading large multi-disciplinary and complex engineering projects through all design and project stages, particularly within the commercial, educational, stadia and public realm structures and artwork sectors. Notable schemes in his experience portfolio include the expansion of Anfield Stadium Main Stand, adding 8,500 additional seats, seven storeys back-of-house and new cantilevering roof; plus a client-side role on the new Coronation Street Studios at Media City UK. Daniel has also had the opportunity of working overseas, having spent time on secondment in Brisbane.
Daniel has a passion for developing his role in shaping cities and buildings, and the significant part that an engineer has to play in reducing carbon emissions in the race to net zero. He has also previously mentored students as part of the University of Salford Industry Mentoring scheme.
