Role and responsibilities
Produce simple design calculations of various mechanical and electrical systems by hand and using calculation software.
Produce technical design drawings Using AutoCAD and Revit.
Help the team to manage the flow of information within agreed timescales.
Work as part of a larger team to deliver the project.
Check the progress of technical aspects of the construction work on site.
Contribute to providing solutions to design problems.
Ensure designs meet required standards following our Integrated Management System.
Keep your training log up to date and attending training/CPDs where appropriate.
Ensure the proper recording, filing and storage of information.
Follow instruction but be confident enough to ask for explanation if required.
Take ownership of individual tasks set by senior members of the team.
Show initiative and manage time effectively.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 GCSE/N5 (or equivalent from other Exam Boards) passes at Grades of 5/B and above (including Maths and English) and preferably a Grade 6/A in Maths.
Have a passion for problem solving.
Be interested in construction, engineering, and the latest technology.
