New senior appointment at Clancy to steer the transport and highways team

Clancy Consulting proudly welcomes Keith York as Associate Director for transport planning.

Based in the Manchester office, Keith assumes a pivotal national role overseeing and championing the existing transport and highways services being delivered across the business.

Boasting over 30 years’ experience, he brings a wealth of expertise to his new role with a professional journey encompassing key positions at Boreham Consulting Engineers (now part of the Waterman Group), Curtins and, most recently, Civic Engineers. Keith has successfully led projects both in the UK and internationally and is a distinguished Fellow of the Institute of Highway Engineering plus a Member of the Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation.

Notable among his achievements are various transport strategies crucial to major developments and significant regeneration schemes. His recent contributions include the public realm strategy for the Poland Street zone in Manchester, the regeneration of both Rhyl and New Brighton’s waterfront, plus involvement in the masterplan for the transformation of Manchester’s Piccadilly Gardens and Liverpool Waters for Peel L&P.

Keith’s passion for his work is evident in his dedication to nurturing talent within his teams, fostering a culture of learning from his in-depth knowledge and experience, and embracing innovative approaches to transport planning.
