Alongside his technical expertise as a building services engineer, Mike also sits on the CIBSE training and development panel.
He’s been a mentor with the Brunel University’s Women in Engineering programme for the past seven years. Working to encourage and support female student engineers from Brunel University is a really enjoyable part of his job.
Mike has worked at Clancy since 2005 and can attest to the company’s family feel. He is a true people-person, and thrives off human interaction. His perfect working day therefore would involve talking to clients and helping them achieve their aspirations. He loves problem solving to work out the best – not always the first – engineering solution for them.
Mike is a season ticket holder at West Bromwich Albion – a hobby that he confesses has sometimes felt more like an obligation than a pleasure.
