As Clancy’s Finance Director, Lucy oversees the finance department and is responsible for maintaining the firm’s solid financial foundation from which the business can grow.
A qualified accountant for over 15 years, and with a broad experience across numerous sectors, Lucy’s perspective and clear remit gives her the focus to proactively make changes and improvements.
Her fresh outlook since she joined in 2017 has helped to ensure Clancy remains a forward-thinking practice, and she relishes being able to implement new measures that she knows will push the business forward.
Whilst Lucy is a numbers person, she also values being able to connect with her colleagues in the Manchester office and beyond. Her favourite days are when the board directors get together; talking strategically and working together to get key decisions made is a dynamic and rewarding part of her job.
As well as fulfilling her obligatory role as the “parent taxi”, Lucy volunteers in her spare time with APD Support UK and likes to keep fit either at the gym or going on bike rides.
