We are delighted to have been shortlisted as a finalist in the Best Place to Work and Diversity Champion categories of the 2016 NCE100 Companies of the Year Awards.
Before the awards, all finalists will attend face-to-face judging by members of the 30-strong jury, made up of clients, contractors and consultants including:
• Roger Bailey, asset management director, Tideway
• David Caiden, director, Arup
• Michelle Dix, managing director, Crossrail 2
• Helen Samuels, engineering director, United Utilities
• Phil Wilbraham, development director, Heathrow Airport
These awards are brand new for New Civil Engineer and seek to recognise firms that are leading the way in five areas that are critical to delivering for clients and making engineering workplaces a great place to be.
Mark Hansford, editor of New Civil Engineer commented:
“We launched the NCE100 as an exciting, robust and challenging way to identify the best civil engineering practices. The entries so far have not disappointed. Our shortlisted firms have great stories to tell and we look forward to hearing them in more detail at the next stage.”
The winners will be announced on 11 May at the Grosvenor House Hotel along with the countdown of the top 100, revealing who will be number 1 – the NCE100 Company of the Year.
