The Mailbox Receives RIBA Award

Article posted on: 7th June 2018

We’re delighted to have provided our services at the multi award-winning Mailbox development in Birmingham, which has just received the RIBA West Midlands Award 2018.

Eleven fantastic buildings were shortlisted for the award covering new build, conservation projects of a range of scales in urban, suburban and rural settings. The projects were selected by The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) West Midlands Awards jury, whose chair praised the breadth of the work.

The awards ceremony took place at Tom’s Kitchen in Birmingham where, following assessment, the winning buildings were announced, including The Mailbox. We’re proud to have been involved with this conversion project that has transformed the former postal office into Birmingham’s premier shopping and lifestyle destination with exclusive stores, waterside restaurants, cafe bars, hotels, office accommodation, apartments and 24-hour secure parking. Read more about the project here.

The regional Award winners will now be considered for a highly-coveted RIBA National Award in recognition of their architectural excellence.
