Clancy Consulting are providing support to EIC on the M&E design phase for a new office development located at 86 and 88-90 Duke Street in Liverpool city centre.

Main contractor Wates started work on the new four storey building in December, work includes the demolition of existing buildings on Duke Street to make way for the Category A office space. Clancy, alongside EIC, will join them on site in July with the project scheduled for completion in February 2016.

Once complete the new 62,000 sq ft office with basement car park is expected to achieve a BREEAM Excellent rating and will be home to the American Shipping company, Atlantic Container Line (ACL Ltd). ACL Ltd will use the building as their European HQ cementing their presence in the city, UK and Europe.

The entire site has been derelict for well over 40 years and this regeneration project will include the retention of the former vinegar warehouse at the rear of the site, continuing the development of Liverpool City Centre and benefiting the region and its continued growth.
