Clancy provide MEP services for Chase Farm Hospital Café

Clancy Consulting delivered MEP services for the development of a new café at Chase Farm Hospital as part of the wider hospital refurbishment. The existing site has been reworked to provide modern catering facilities for staff, patients and visitors alike. Chase Farm Hospital located in Gordon Hill, near Enfield, North London is run by the Royal London NHS Foundation Trust and has recently undergone a refurbishment across a number of departments in a bid to refresh the facility for staff and the wider public.
The delivery of the new café facility using five refurbished shipping containers is a modern initiative delivered by developers White Crate. White Crate specialise in the use of redundant shipping containers and up-cycles them to provide a variety of facilities including; mini retail stores, catering spaces, hospitality spaces, pop-up bars, pop-up clinics, meeting rooms, classrooms and even broadcast ready mini-studio design.
This cost effective delivery solution provides an environmentally friendly facility by converting redundant shipping containers into a workable space, in this case allowing for the provision of kitchen facilities, seating areas and toilet facilities. The inclusion of insulation fabric further insures an eco-friendly solution by a reduction on heating costs and environmental impact.
Taking part in this project went beyond just delivering MEP services; the project embodies core values we hold at the heart of our business. As an organisation we are committed to providing environmentally friendly and sustainable developments that support the development of the built environment and have a positive impact on the wider surrounding community and the public using the hospital.
