Clancy appointed on over 100 schemes on the NHS SBS Framework
Article posted on: 25th January 2021
Clancy Consulting has been appointed to the Consultancy Services Framework since its inception in April 2018, and in this time, has been involved in the delivery of some 100 schemes nationwide, both via competition and by direct award.
We have been involved with a wide range of types of projects across the UK, delivering some really great schemes. Client bodies include many NHS trusts, but also universities and even residential developers.
Martyn Headley, Clancy Consulting Chief Executive, commented, “This is a hugely successful Framework, and I can easily say that this has been the most fruitful framework that we have been appointed on. I believe the success is due to the ease of use for both buyers and suppliers.
What makes it even greater is the wide variety of schemes that we have had opportunity to become involved with, and not just in the healthcare sector.
Contractors coming on board the Framework is a huge plus point for client bodies, with access to a full pre-qualified supply chain team and the speed to market available by using this Framework.
In addition to working alongside client bodies, we are routinely working with contractors and see huge benefit in doing the same, enabling real Value Engineering to be adopted from the outset with integrated collaboration.”

We are currently working on the reconfiguration of the Emergency Department.
At the University of Westminster, we were procured on a large refurbishment scheme of their administration spaces, with value of £4.4m, providing MEP engineering service.
Guinness Developments, one of the largest social housing providers in the UK, appointed us to provide Civil & Structural engineering and Geotechnical advice for the delivery of the Points Cross scheme in Leeds. Once complete, the development will provide 928 homes, a minimum 35% of which will be affordable housing.
At Royal Blackburn Hospital NHS Trust, we are providing M&E design services for lifecycle replacement to 11 operating theatres (including three Ultra Clean) and recovery areas.
