Clancy were appointed from project inception and developed all the engineering strategies through to the detailed design of the structures, drainage and parking areas.
The structure is a long span multi-bay steel portal frame supported on traditional pad and strip concrete foundations.
There are two storey areas to the front of the building forming new office accommodation and the toilet block etc. The span/ building height constraints were a challenge in this rural area and the curved steel structure provided the internal head room required for the factory processes.
We have just completed a Phase 2 extension to help provide increased capacity for the factory which can be seen under construction in the aerial view below.
