Godiva Place, Coventry

Godiva Place is a new student accommodation scheme providing 772 beds for students attending higher education in Coventry.

The development, delivered by Regents Godiva Limited, consists a number of residential buildings ranging from four to nine storeys, along with a full suite of facilities for residents.

Clancy Consulting advised on the MEP services for this large development. The 772 student beds are also serviced with car and cycle parking and a social hub for residents.

The scheme is a mixed studio and cluster arrangement, enjoying 10% on site renewable contribution, high speed data and WiFi and interior designed rooms and amenity spaces.

The development, located off Lower Ford Street, Hillfields, is within easy walking distance of the university campus and city centre.  The project commenced in June 2016, following the relocation of the previous occupant, manufacturing firm Norman Hay Limited, to a larger premisis in a more viable location for their business.
