Dock 5, Salford
Dock 5 is a 394 unit residential development, set to be one of the North West’s biggest private rental schemes. Situated next to the River Irwell in Salford, the scheme is part of the wider regeneration of the Ordsall corridor, linking Manchester City centre with Salford Quays.
Split across three steel frame buildings ranging from five to eight storeys, the scheme will include a landscaped communal podium deck and basement car parking. Alongside the private rent apartments, facilities for residents will include a waterfront lounge, cinema rooms and a gym.
Early involvement from Clancy included site investigation, contaminated land and geotechnical assessment and remediation works. Currently on site, we are providing full civil and structural engineering design services.
Dock 5 is being delivered by ForLiving, with Bridgestone Construction as the main contractor and Falconer Chester Hall as the architect.
The first phase of these luxury, modern apartments for rent will be ready in October 2021, with the whole project is due to complete in 2023.
