Engineering Students Build Their Knowledge on Site Visit

Article posted on: 4th October 2017

Clancy Consulting recently took 19 students from Norwich City College, who are currently studying in their first year of the Civil Engineering Level 3 course, to a site visit of one of our projects at Dell House, Beccles.

Currently at construction stage the new build project will see the development of a 60-bed care home. Whilst on site Lee from our Norwich office led the informative talk with the students, who gained valuable knowledge in health and safety, sustainability and project management.

Thanks to our client, Draper & Nichols Ltd for allowing us on the site. We are committed to and thoroughly enjoy working with colleges and universities to provide these experiences that truly enhance the courses and are extremely valuable to the students. We have well established relationships with numerous educational establishments throughout the UK which enables us to provide these invaluable experiences that the students wouldn’t otherwise benefit from without the support of the industry.
