Clancy’s Property and Construction Ride for Alzheimer’s is Back for 2017
Article posted on: 14th March 2017
Due to the success of last year’s event, we will once again be holding our Property and Construction Bike Ride in May. Clancy Consulting and clients will be completing a 60-mile cycle ride through Cheshire and Staffordshire in support of Alzheimer’s, with an alternative slightly shorter 45-mile route included to cater for a range of experiences.
Last year, we had 50 riders out and we would very much like to push these numbers up to nearer 70 or 80 this year. We are looking for a pleasant afternoon and we have reserved better weather than last year!
The event will once again be in aid of Alzheimer’s Society; this is a dreadful disease that has impacted the families of our staff. Also the number of people we have come across with very similar family issues has been staggering, to say the least. It is a very cruel disease that we want to continue to help raise awareness and support for, having raised more than £4,000 last year for the Alzheimer’s Society.
At Clancy we recognise our staff make our business what it is and they will face challenges in their personal life at times across their careers. As an organization we aim to support them in as many ways as we can and our participation in charity events is just one of the many ways we help our staff.
Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to the charity. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity’s behalf where the donor is eligible.
We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations made, please click here to access our page.
