Each year Clancy Consulting partner with City, University of London as we set the Structures Project Assignment for their second year Structural Engineering students.
We recently hosted the students from the university in our London office. They joined us to be briefed on their project assignment, which is based on one of the current projects in our office.
In this session Sukh Chana, Clancy Director gave a general introduction to Clancy and the role of the Consulting Engineer. Also Zeshan, Structural Engineer at Clancy briefed the students on the assignment.
Sukh will assist in the marking of the student’s presentations in about 4 weeks’ time.
We wish all the students the best of luck on the assignment and with the rest of their studies.
As an organisation we recognise the importance of supporting todays’ students for tomorrow’s world. We enjoy working with a number of other universities where we are involved with Mentoring and as Industrial Liaison Partners. Also, at Brunel University we support the Women in Brunel Engineering and Computing (WiBEC) Mentoring Programme, which encourages and inspires female students to attain their full potential. Mike Powers, Director at Clancy has been an active mentor on the WiBEC programme since its inception.
We also have a longstanding history of sponsoring awards and supporting higher education organisations throughout the UK.
