Timber Engineering is an evolving discipline and is at the forefront of Modern Methods of Construction. This brings a wide range of benefits to the industry as a whole. Incorporation of many aspects such as the use of panel wall construction, floor cassettes, pre-serviced elements, roof modules etc, enables rapid construction programmes to be achieved, with the bulk of the manufacture being executed in factory conditions achieving high quality production and improved H&S statistics for the industry.
Our role in Timber Engineering includes the provision of structural designs on new build projects to the timber frame industry and extends to the appraisal of existing timber frame buildings, often of historic interest.
Across Clancy offices we have significant experience in new build, conservation and refurbishment of a wide range of projects where our specialist Timber Engineering skills contribute to the success of projects.
