NOMA, Manchester

Clancy were responsible for the delivery of Civil and Structural services in support of the new city square in NOMA, the 20-acres mixed-use, responsibly designed neighbourhood in Manchester’s City Centre.

The new development has created a public square between the iconic CIS Tower, New Century House and Hanover, providing a safe and welcoming space that promises a mix of cafés, restaurants, bars and shops nestled amongst the characterful buildings of the NOMA listed estate.

The project, supported by the European Regional Development Fund, was designed by Manchester based architects Planit-IE.

Our client P Casey (Land Reclamation) Ltd won the BALI National Landscape Award 2016 for NOMA, in the Hard Landscaping Construction (Non Domestic) Cost over £1.5 million category.
